The Soccer Jersey Store

Soccer fever is here again. The Euro 2008 Championship is in full swing, bringing soccer fans together from all over the world. Now is the time to team up and time to show our support for our favorite team, either by buying the team uniform, joining the club, or with a tattooing of the logo.

The first choice for everyone is always going to be a soccer jersey from the famous stores. Before going to the store and buying the team jersey for a sky rocketing price, lets have a look elsewhere.

Chelsea Fanclub

As we all know, every soccer team has its own uniform, or soccer jersey. Whether its a high school, a club, a college, or a rec league, every team changes its soccer jersey seasonally. These jerseys are made by well known brands such as Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Diadora, Eurosport spirit wear, etc. We can get these soccer jerseys in almost every store in town, but the most prominent ones are to be found in the soccer jersey shops, which exclusively stock soccer jerseys by brand, by team, by player, by size, and by country.

The Soccer Jersey Store

Be aware of the difference between the originals and the replicas, obvious by the price difference. Unless you are a huge fan of the team, and can afford to shell out a fortune for the latest jersey that your team has just released, you don't want to end up paying a fortune for a replica that will soon be out of date when the season ends.

Most of the soccer jersey shops are available online now. You can go there, find your favorite sport's news, blogs, information, and shop for your favorite products as well as comparing other soccer jersey shops and their prices quite accurately. These online shops have all the updated information about the latest changes in the uniforms and can know also inform us as to the various new designs that your favorite player is wearing.

Most of the famous soccer jersey shops provide uniforms for almost all the teams, brands, countries and players all over the world. It is finding the best deal for the latest jersey at a reasonable price that is the challenge. Apart from individual buying, if you are associated with a fan club or a soccer club, then it is more advantageous to check and see if your club has any association with the soccer jersey shops, so that a bulk order for its club members can be provided as a compliment or for a discounted price.

Most of the clubs in United States of America and Great Britain have these kind of complimentary gifts for its club members when there is a tournament.

In short, its smart to find out the latest design, the latest trends and the best price in town before leaping in to the soccer fever that has spread all over the world. So, speed up. Find the best soccer jersey shop in town. Compare prices. Grab the best option. Wear it and cheer your favorite team.

When and Why You Should Replace Office Chair Casters

When you purchase an office chair, a large majority of the time your chair will come equipped with casters, which are basically the wheels you have on your chair that allow you to move around. If your chair does have wheels, you are probably using them in your office more than you realize. For most of us, how much we use the wheels on our office chair generally is not a recurring thought that goes through our mind regularly. From rolling over to the printer to rolling to the fax machine, office chair wheels get a pretty good amount of mileage on them without us even thinking about it. Until the day you realize your casters are not working properly or one breaks, then you begin to notice how much you actually depended on them. Or there is always the slight chance you and your employees embarked on an chair racing challenge and one of you took a turn too sharply and broke one of the chair's casters in the process. That sometimes can happens too.

If any of these scenarios do take place, there is no need to worry, replacing the casters on your office chair is actually pretty simple. If you know the model number and manufacturer for your office chair, you can easily locate the casters that will fit properly. Sometimes if you flip your chair over and look underneath the seat, that information is readily available on a paper attached. Alternately, when you get your chair in the mail save any papers you get in that box because they will generally have information on the manufacturer and chair you purchased. Once this information is located you can call the manufacturer, or even the retailer you purchased the chair from. If they do not carry the casters, they should at least be able to point you in the right direction to purchase a new set for your chair.

Chelsea

If you are looking to spice up your office chair, you will find that there are casters available in many different colors. No longer is the standard of black or silver casters for your office chair enforced, now you can easily match the casters to go with your decor, the color of the chair, or even if you want to add a little spice to a black or neutral colored chair. This is a great way to add a touch of style to your chair that is inexpensive and requires little effort.

When and Why You Should Replace Office Chair Casters

Office chair casters, as simple as they are, are something you do not realize is a necessity until they are not working properly. If yours are not working or if you just want a different kind of caster, it is simple to replace and relatively inexpensive. While casters are a small part of the overall chair, they are still needed to make the chair function properly overall.

Chelsea Football Shirts Worn With Pride

As the Manchester United players awoke from their slumber the morning after the Champions League final and looked down at the medal still probably glistening around their neck they will have wondered, if only a little, just how lucky they were.

Football is a cruel game and this final was no different, for me Chelsea should have won as they had been the more likely to score. Drogba was first denied by the post and then Lampard's nifty turn and shot was met by the crossbar. United themselves could have been 2-0 up had a Tevez connected with Ronaldo's cross after the Portuguese winger had risen to head them in front.

Chelsea Football Club

It was lady luck that played a big part in the build up to Chelsea's equalizer as an Essien shot took not one but two wicked deflections before landing in the path of Lampard who slid a shot into the net. Looking skyward no doubt to his Mum rather than the gods.

Chelsea Football Shirts Worn With Pride

Then came a moment of stupidity as Drogba saw red for slapping Vidic in the face after an altercation involving Tevez knocking the ball out for a innocuous throw in after Chelsea had put it out in response to a United player down injured.

Chelsea only had themselves to blame, Untied couldn't make much of the numerical advantage and so the tension rose another level as both teams headed for spot kicks.

Ronaldo surprisingly was the first player to miss, his now trademarked pause during run up let him down as Cech stayed firm to palm the ball away. Now it was Chelsea who had the upper hand. Then stepped John Terry, Mr. Chelsea the man who suffered heart ache in three previous semi finals was about to have a fourth as he saw his spot kick hit the post. There were signs that he slipped but whether that had anything to do with it is anyone's guess.

And so they traded punches again before Anleka stepped up and saw his spot kick saved by Van Der Sar. It will be debated long after as to whether or not the best team won on the night but you couldn't deny United their glory. They have been an expceptional team this season orchestrated by an exceptional manager who etched his name in the history books as only the third British manager to win two champions league trophies.

For Chelsea this will be hard to take having come some close, yet they and the many fans decked out in Chelsea football shirts can only reflect on what might have been and pray that the team will have enough spirit to make it all the way next season.

Biography of Frank Lampard

Date of birth: 20.06.1978

Country: England

Chelsea FootballClub

Club: «Chelsea» (London, England)

Biography of Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard had been a promising player for a long time, many people considered him as a national England team's hope, and only with coming of a Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, Frank became a real super-player. It was a Portuguese guru, who made a real leader of a young Englishman. Now all «Chelsea's» center game is based on this motor half-back.
West Ham's pupil, Lampard, firslty played in Premiership in 1996, he was 18, and being 20 he already played in a main team, being 21 he was appointed a UK youth team captain, at the same time he was firstly invited to play for a main country team. A young half-back made his debut in a national England team on October, 10 1999 in a play-off with a Belgian team. However, for a long time this was the only game Lampard played for a national team.

Such player could not stay for a long in an average club, and in 2001 West Ham sold Lampard to Chelsea for 16 euro millions. Frank quickly adjusted to a new club and became a main team player. Playing centre half, Frank scored 5 goals and missed only one ball during his first season.
When Swede Ericsson became a coach of all-England team, Lampard's position in a national team changed. He started playing in a team regularly, replacing Nike Batt. On Europe championship in Portugal Lampard became a real leader among Englishmen. Many people consider the quarter-final match his team lost to a host team one of the best matches in football history with good reasons.
2004 year became the best one in Lampard's carrier, he was acknowledged the Best club's player and took an honorary second place in "Fotballer's of The Year" rating in England. This season is also good for a leader. His Chelsea is close to triumph in England Championship and Champions League more than ever.

Being a leader, Lampard guides the team. He looks great both as a support and offensive half-back. Franks is physically strong, stable, at the same time has an excellent kick and tries to use this circumstance as often as he can. In general, constant aiming at gates - is one of his main advantages.

Specialized Seating - Is Polyurethane Or ESD Seating the Right Choice For Your Company?

ESD and Polyurethane seating, while perhaps not the most popular or well known choice for office chairs, is specialized seating that is sometimes required and needed by companies. Primarily used in the healthcare industry, the material that makes up these chairs is different than your typical fabric, mesh, leather material. From the chair's back to the base to the type of casters/glides used on the chair are all specially constructed.

ESD (Static-Dissipative) chairs' fabric make these chairs safe for use around sensitive components and equipment. ESD chairs are designed specifically to eliminate problems caused by combining conductive materials such as hooded static-free casters and upholstered in static-free fabric. Even simple movements such as reaching for a telephone can generate enough voltage to damage or degrade sensitive microelectronic components, which is why this specialty seating came about.

In order to resist static, an ESD chair is carefully and thoughtfully crafted. When the back of the chair is designed, the front and rear panels are covered with ESD compliant fabric or vinyl secured to copper bands inside the backrest. Electrical discharge from copper bands travel through die cast aluminum back bar to the metal frame of control mechanism. The seat of the chair is also secured to copper bands inside. The electrical discharge from the copper bands travels through the metal frame of the control mechanism to the gas lift. The metal frame of control mechanism makes contact with the chrome gas lift. From there, the spring plunger with ball bearing assures constant contact with gas lift for continuity throughout the chair. Even the casters and glides of ESD chairs are deliberately engineered to be conductive. Charge passes through casters or glides to conductive floor finish.

Polyurethane seating is primarily used in industrial, scientific, medical, laboratory, clean room, and electronic assembly environments. The polyurethane material resists stains, punctures, and damage from water, grease, and chemicals. There are two types of polyurethane seating available from manufacturers of high quality factory and industrial seating. The most common polyurethane seating come in the form of a thin profile seat of hardened polyurethane. Self skinned polyurethane seating is critically important to intensive work environments for its durability, toughness, and cleanliness. In this particular seating situation you must be willing to sacrifice comfort for long term durability and resistance to many things. The availability of self skinned polyurethane seating makes this type of chair a mainstay in many cost effective industrial environments.

Spray on polyurethane differs from standard self skinned polyurethane in the form of the polyurethane applied to the chair. In the latter, the polyurethane coat is applied to a polyurethane seat - the result is a hard, stiff sit. In the former, spray on polyurethane (otherwise known as SPU seating), the standard foam used in standard seats is coated with a durable polyurethane solution. The result is the most comfortable and durable polyurethane solution available. All SPU seating meets the specialized requirements of factory, clean room, laboratory, and other harsh environments where durability is essential. Most SPU and self skinned polyurethane is available only in black. Spray-on polyurethane seating is available on select industrial/healthcare chairs.

Sneaking Inside Barcelona Soccer Club

Barcelona is well known all over the world not only as a progressive city but it is known also known worldwide for soccer. The city is home to one of the most dynamic and most celebrated soccer club, the FC Barcelona soccer club.

FC Barcelona soccer club is no doubt the best soccer club in the whole of Spain, under which is the team Barca, the soccer team that holds the record for most wins. Barca is the sole team in Europe that has been able to compete in the most coveted soccer tournament in Europe, the European Cup. It has also set its own record for most wins on Spain's Copa del Rey. The club's official colors were royal blue, gold and maroon.

The team's reputation in Barcelona can be seen on the lives of fans everyday. Soccer fanatics wear Barca's jerseys and accessories almost everyday or on game day to show their salute to the team. Not only this, they even had their mobile phones installed with Barca hymn ringtones and had it connected to the team's official site to update them of the team's standing if they were unable to watch the game live.

Another asset that Barcelona possessed is the fact that they had the biggest football museum worldwide and it is also the most frequented football museum.

A soccer club as successful as FC Barcelona has all the pride for the world to hear and admire. Needless to say, it sure is the first club in the head of every soccer player to join with if they will only be given a chance.

Portsmouth New Kit 2009-2010

Popping up on the internet from time to time recently amid the constant Portsmouth takeover speculation, has been the issue of the club's new kit for next season.

Of course, the all blue home kit, created to commemorate our '110th anniversary' (!), can't be worn next season as we will need another to mark our 111th anniversary. This does mean, though, that it looks likely we will be reverting to red, white, and blue. Hooray! Whether the design lasts more than one season remains to be seen. The picture doing the rounds for most of the last few weeks has been a rather amateurish looking photoshop showing white trim with a new sponsor, Intercontinental Hotels. However, the quality of the image left many suspecting tomfoolery.

There is now a new version appearing. It is shown on TrueBlueArmy.com. To see the home kit, click here; for the away, here. Rumour has it the third kit remains black, with a horizontal blue stripe. The source for these latest pictures is Canterbury in Australia, but whether the images are right or wrong, the kit must surely be in production by now. The issue of the sponsor appears unclear, with none shown. It seems the club may be cutting it fine if the takeover needs to be complete before a shirt sponsor is confirmed. The designs themselves look fine to me. The inportant thing is that we return to white shorts and red socks. This has got me thinking about other kits we have had, good and bad, but bear in mind my experience dates back only 25 years. It may be true, however, that we have seen more variations in this time than in the previous years put together!

1983-85 - a classic looking plain royal blue with slightly darker tramlines by Le Coq Sportif. Wouldn't mind one of these as a classic shirt!

1985-87 - not the home shirt, which was fine, but not as nice as the previous version my opinion. The manufacturer had changed to Umbro, but I'm talking about the white away kit, with the two diagonal blue shoulder stripes on the shirt. Although I'm sure this was the kit in which we were embarrased on national TV in an FA Cup tie against Wimbledon when, straight from the kick off after going behind, Noel Blake mamaged to slot the ball past Alan Knight for an own goal and 2-0, as Knight was doing up his laces!

1987-89 - again, not the home shirt with the red and white pin stripes, which even then I thought was tacky! Admiral, the new manufacturer, didn't cover themselves in glory there. But I loved the retro salmon pink away kit! I had one (with shorts and socks, of course as I was eleven at the time). I think we should reintroduce a version of that now!

1991-92 - this was truly horrendous! However, I still have it as a treasured possession due to its association with our FA Cup run that season (I also still have the blue shorts with the little FA Cup on the side). Made by Influence, it had their trademark zig zag, same-colour pattern all over it. I seem to remember Cambridge United having the same design on theirs. The only worse one I can think of was the Arsenal away kit which had the same pattern in yellow and black! That (and the cup run of course) is the only thing that made me feel better about this kit.

1992-95 - Asics were making quite a splash at this time and they gave us a decent home shirt, much better quality than the previous one. Something strange had happened with the badge, and even with the design on the shirt itself, which at a distance looked plain blue, but was a bit 'swirly' up close. Where they really came into their own was with the away kit, which was in black and red halves. I had both the shirts but the black and red one was much my favourite. I had great memories of it at a late season 2-0 midweek away win at Tranmere (Whittingham,2), but not so great ones after losing 1-0 to Leicester at the City Ground in the first leg of the play offs.

1997-99 - my memory is slightly hazy around this time as to exactly when we changed our kits. I think we used the Asics one for three seasons before they changed the design. The second Asics kit wasn't so good, with a huge white band around the collar. But the stand out horrible kit from this period was the Admiral kit which (I think) we used from '97 to '99. I still have it, if only to prove to anyone that asks (never gonna happen) how bad it was. It was poor quality with a HUGE badge in the middle of the chest, and 'Pompey' written in tacky yellow italics on the bottom of the back (?????). Still, we wore it at Bradford City in 1998 to avoid relegation.

2000-01 - after a one season flirtation with an own brand kit that wasn't up to scratch, the club unveiled an improved version in 2000. The quality was no doubt an improvement, but the shirt was uninspiring. Still, this is the one that Robert Prosinecki graced and the orange away version was at least distinctive.

This marked the start of the one-season kit era, with only one kit since the introduction of a new kit in 2000 surviving beyond a single campaign. The biggest howler in that time has been the 2005-06 kit by Jako with a yellow stripe running the length of the shirt. The season was as bad as the kit, and the icing on the cake was the embarrasing red and beige away effort. UGHH!

To the present day, and Canterbury make stylish kits. The 2007-08 Cup-winning year kit has been by far the best recently, with only the Le Coq shirt from the early 80s to rival it in my opinion. Some have complained about the gold flashing, but I don't mind that combined with traditional colours. Last season's colour scheme was paricularly uninspiring. Let's hope this new kit returns to tradition and lasts for more than one year!

EPL Team Profile - Manchester United

The club's formal name is Manchester United Football Club, or Manchester United FC.

They are also referred to, popularly, as the Red Devils. Founded in 1878 as Newton Heath LYR FC, the squad train at their home venue of Old Trafford, with its capacity of nearly 76,000. Owned by the Glazier family, the squad have Joel and Avram Glazer as co-chairmen, and Sir Alex Fergusson as manager.

Manchester United have won the most league titles, 18, a record they share with Liverpool. However, unlike Liverpool, who haven't won a single Premier League, the Red Devils have won in 11 of the 17 Premiership seasons, so far.

In the ongoing season, United have won two of three matches played and are currently third on the League table behind Chelsea and Arsenal.

Early Season Preview:

Manchester United would want to win the Premiership this season, for more than one reason. Apart from the obvious need to establish themselves as the best team in the fray, the squad know that this could be Sir Alex Fergusson's last year, at the helm. And that the Premier League title could be the perfect parting gift.

In fact, this is Fergie's 25th year, and even after a quarter century in charge, his motivation is intact. The Community shield, the traditional curtain raiser to the season, saw United lifting the trophy, by beating Premier League defending champions, Chelsea. Was that a teaser trailer of bigger things to come?

This is the Red Devils' current line-up: Van der Sar, Vidic, O'Shea, Evra, Jonathan Evans, Scholes, Nani, Giggs, Fletcher, Rooney, Berbatov, Kuszczak, Smalling, Owen, Hernandez, Carrick, Valencia and Rafael Da Silva.

Wayne Rooney has returned to the League after a forgettable World Cup, and he will want to put those memories behind him, the best way he knows -- by scoring goals. Rooney's form, as ever, will determine how the Old Trafford outfit shape up in their Premiership campaign.

Sir Alex has had the legendary knack of spotting little known players who have gone on to do brilliantly in top flight football. Javier Hernandez, signed this summer, belongs to this breed. Hernandez did well in South Africa, and has looked good in his short tenure with the Red Devils. Apart from Javier, Fulham's defender Chris Smalling is another summer signing of promise. In departures from Old Trafford, United have sold Ben Foster.

The Premiership, in recent years, has become a two-horse race, between Chelsea and Manchester United. This year, I expect it to be a three-pronged affair, with Arsenal providing the third side to the triangular contest. From the evidence of the matches played so far, I would back the Red Devils to mount a serious challenge for the title.

John Toshack - Liverpool FC Legend

John Toshack was a Liverpool legend, famed for his great goal scoring and his fantastic strike partnership with Kevin Keegan.

Toshack began his football career with his home town club Cardiff City, signing his first professional contract in 1966, on his 17th birthday. Toshack remained at Cardiff for four seasons and scoring seventy-five goals.

Bill Shankly signed Toshack, after Liverpool's original target Frank Worthington had failed a medical and the rest, as they say, is history. Toshack signed from Cardiff for 110,000 in November 1970 and became an instant hero when he scored against local rivals Everton in his second match for Liverpool.

Toshack will be remembered for his great aerial ability, that would become a feature of Liverpool's attack for many years, and his great partnership with Kevin Keegan which terrorised defences in England and Europe, scoring nearly 200 goals for Liverpool between them.

During his time at Liverpool John Toshack scored 96 goals, and he was part of the Liverpool team that won the First Division titles in 1973, 1976 and 1977, the FA Cup in 1974, and the UEFA Cup in 1973 and 1976.

1975-76 was Toshack's beat season at Liverpool, playing in fifty competitive matches for the club in four different competitions winning the League and UEFA Cup winners medals.

Unfortunately Toshack had numerous injuries during his time at Liverpool, which blighted his career, injury also meant that he missed the last part of the 1976-77 season and he could only watch as his team won the European cup for the first time in 1977.

After making only a few appearances in the first team the following season, Toshack left Liverpool to become player-manager at Swansea City. John Toshack made 247 appearances for Liverpool and scored 96 goals.

Toshack made an emotional return to Anfield in 1981 with his Swansea side, a few days after Bill Shankly died, just before the minutes silence in memory of Shankly, Toshack removed his Swansea tracksuit top, revealing a red Liverpool shirt with his number 10 on the back. It was an emotional moment which will be remembered by many Liverpool fans and demonstrated just how much playing for Liverpool and Bill Shankly had meant to him.

Manchester United Beat Chelsea 3-1 in Community Shield Thriller

Manchester United got the better of Premier League Champions Chelsea by 3- 1 in a thriller Community Shield encounter at Wembley, on Sunday.

This is the traditional curtain raiser at the start of the season.

This was Manchester United's first win after Carlos Ancelotti took charge of the Blues.

Chelsea under Ancellotti in the last season won both the Premier League and the FA Cup, and beat United both at home and away. They also won the Community Shield.

Ageless Paul Scholes was the hero on the day for Manchester United; he was brilliant in midfield with incisive passes that kept Chelsea on the run, for the most part.

The 84,000 odd spectators who witnessed the match at Wembley booed the England players who had returned from their miserable World Cup. That did not deter Wayne Rooney from executing a brilliant low pass to Valencia to open the United scoring.

The first goal came in the 41st minute of the first half when Rooney running down the right found an unmarked Ecuadorian Valencia with a stunning first-time ball and Valencia found it a piece of cake to put the ball past Hilario, in the Chelsea goal.

Javier Hernandez came on as a second half substitute and got a lucky goal in his debut match.

All in all, Javier Fernandez had a great debut for Manchester United. The diminutive Mexican combined brilliantly with Dimitar Berbatov who fired in passes from the right wing.

The match opened on a lively note with both teams enjoying chances of scoring.

A half-hearted lob that Valencia attempted was a wasted opportunity as was a wide volley by Scholes within 16 yards of the goal with only the goalkeeper to beat.

Nicolas Anelka leading a three pronged attack with Kalou and Florent Malouda counter attacked for Chelsea.

Manchester United goalkeeper, Van der Sar, who was brilliant on the afternoon, committed a rare blunder, as he did not quite manage to hold on to the ball after a long range shot from Anelka, but Kalou was caught at a tight angle and could not capitalise on the rebound.

Branislav Ivanovic would have scored with a header but for a brilliant palming of the ball by Van der Sar.

After a frenetic start, the two teams settled down to a more sedate pace, a period that Scholes dominated with a series of brilliant passes.

He chipped the ball deftly for Rooney to do the rest but the England striker failed to score from the acute angle he had to contend with.

Chelsea's left back Ashley Cole was also caught out of position, time and again by incisive crosses from Scholes.

It was one of those crosses that Rooney transmitted to Valencia to put United ahead with four minutes to go to half-time.

Chelsea had a successful outing at Wembley when they were last here in May, defeating Portsmouth to win the FA Cup.

After the break they came out firing, with long distance shts at goal by Michael Essien, back from injury, and Malouda. Kalou had a shot stopped by Van der Sar.

Coming in as a second half substitute, Hernandez dazzled with spins and flicks. The mercurial Mexican also displayed his ability to create space.

In the 76th minute, Javier scored his first goal in English football, and it was a stroke of luck. John O'Shea's pass down the United right found Luis valencia racing in to take advantage of an out of position Ashley Cole and his pass found Hernandez at the far post. Hernandez fell over even as ghe kicked the ball into his own face and to his relief the ball rolled into the net.

Seven minutes later Chelsea reduced the margin. Edwin van der Sar in the Man U goal parried away a 20-yarder from Daniel Sturridge and Salomon Kalou slid in the rebound.

An injury time goal made it a decisive 3-1 for Man U, with Berbatov grabbing hold of a Nani pass to put it over the Chelsea goalkeeper.

Who Will Win the 2010 World Cup?

In theory, any of the teams could win the 2010 World Cup this year, however, some are more favoured than others.

Here's what you need to know

1. The host nation, South Africa, are very proud to be holding the World Cup this year, it will bring the attention of the whole world to the country and the continent. South Africa are unlikely to win, but with the Premier League experience of Benni McCarthy and Aaron Mokoena, will hope to do well. It will also encourage more people to start playing football, or taking it more seriously in the African nations.

2. The other main African Teams such as Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria, all have players with Premier League, and European experience. From Chelsea's Ghana international, Michael Essien, and Ivory Coast's Kolo Touré, Emmanuel Eboué and Didier Drogba at Chelsea, there is a wealth of experience. Nigeria boast Everton's Yobo Chelsea's John Obi Mikel, and Portsmouth's Kanu, Cameroon have also done well in the competition previously.

3. Australia are improving rapidly, and able to hold their own against other bigger teams. With many players with Premier League Experience, such as Mark Schwarzer, Lucas Neil, Brett Emerton, Vince Grella, Tim Cahill and Harry Kewell, Australia might go far this time.

4. New Zealand were a surprise qualifier for the 2010 World Cup. Players such as Ryan Nelson and Chris Kellen play in English football, whilst others, such as Andrew Boyens and Jeremy Christie play in America, so there is a chance that the Kiwis might do well.

5. The USA are another improving side, and it looks like "soccer" is becoming more and more popular in America, possibly due to the influence of David Beckham. Players including Tim Howard, Jonathan Spector, top scorer Landon Donavan, Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey, have all got Premier League experience, and could help the USA to get past the group stages.

6. Portugal are another outside bet. Although boasting megastar Christiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid, and the excitingl Nani of Manchester United, as well as Chelsea goalkeeper Hilario, they often don't perform as well as they should. However, on their day they are a match for any county. If they have even a tenth of the self belief and conviction of compatriot Jose Mourinho, they'll do well this time.

7. South American teams other than Brazil and Argentina, are unlikely to get to the quarter finals, however Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile can be formidable opponents, and may adapt better to the conditions in South Africa than European teams, so could cause a surprise.

8. The Netherlands, Greece, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Denmark, are all capable of beating the big teams on their day. However, they can't be relied on to beat the so-called lesser teams, and so might not get as far as they'd hoped.

9. A rank outsider, like North Korea, South Korea, Japan, Honduras, Algeria, Switzerland could get a lot further than expected. As the standard of football is improving all the time, and players from all other the world are playing in the major European leagues, it won't be long before one of these teams causes an upset.

10. However, realistically, the winner of the 2010 World Cup, will probably be one of Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Spain, England or France. Thanks to their players and managers, they should have the ability to reach the finals.

Now you know more about the teams, the only problem is, which two countries will get to the final, and who will win!

5 Tips to Keep Your Office Chair Clean

If you are anything like me, then you are bound to spill something on your office chair especially if you are using it 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. You could just leave the spill and let it stain. Unfortunately with that solution, you will constantly have to look at the stain everyday and will be reminded of that one time you spilled your cup of coffee all over your perfect looking office chair, or that time you ate butterfingers and were too lazy to wash your hands so instead you used your office chair as a napkin. Or perhaps the best solution, you could use one of my five tips I have compiled on how to effectively remove a stain from a chair for a relatively cheap price and what preventative action to take against stains.

Before trying to clean your office chair, it is important to find out what kind of material the chair is made of. Generally chairs have a manufacturers cleanability code found beneath the seat which refers to what material/s the chair is made of. If there is no cleaning instructions, a good rule of thumb to follow is the upholstery is made of at least 50% polyester. Most office chairs are made of synthetic materials (such as polyester). If your chair is made of a leather or vinyl material you will not have to worry as much about cleanliness because those materials do not stain as easily, and most of the time you are able to wipe the spill right off. It is important to prevent stains as they do not fall under manufacturer's warranties.

Here are our five ways we get rid of stains and prevent them from happening:

Foam Upholstery Cleaner: A general foam upholstery cleaner will clean, deodorize, and freshen soiled fabrics. Woolite is a great product for cleaning chairs and removing bad odors. To use a foam upholstery cleaner, first dampen the fabric with a rag, making sure not to soak the material. Spray the chair with the cleaner, and wipe gently with a clean, damp rag. Blot out the excess moisture with a dry towel and repeat the steps until the chair is clean.

Home made shampoo: A little bit of a cheaper option is making your own home made shampoo alternative. Most stains should come right off if cleaned immediately. A little bit of Dawn dish detergent mixed in a small bowl of warm water, diluted about 20 parts water to 1 part soap. Instead of scrubbing up and down, it is best to apply the shampoo in a blotting, circular motion. Blot up the soap with a clean, but damp rag. Continue rinsing in this method until all the soap has been removed. Pat the area dry with a towel.

To prevent stains on chairs you will be spending a lot of time sitting on it is best to choose a vinyl upholstery option instead of fabric. It may cost a little bit of money to upgrade to this option, but it will save you the hassle of having to clean a fabric office chair . If you do choose a fabric chair, apply Scotch Guard prior to sitting in the chair because it will make it much easier to clean stains when they do occur.

Rug Doctor:If you have a little bit more money to spare on cleaning your office chair, it may be worthwhile to invest in a Rug Doctor which you can find at your local grocery store or Home Depot, especially if you are cleaning multiple chairs in an office setting. It will be cheaper than hiring a steam cleaning company, yet it will give you the same results. Generally Rug Doctors cost anywhere between $25-$40 to rent for 24 hours and come equipped with furniture attachments.

Cleaning Solvent:Cleaning solvents work well on office chairs if you take swift action after the stain has been made. First you will need to apply the cleaning solvent directly to the stain. Use a toothbrush or scrubber to work the paste into the stain. Allow it to sit for about 5-10 minutes. Then come back with a damp cloth towel to buff the stain out. A few good cleaning solvents are Quick and Brite as well as Resolve.
Follow these tips and your office chair will look spotless for year to come!

Collecting Big Match Football Programmes

Big Match football programmes are those that are considered to be very widely collectable by supporters of any football club or international team. The sub-categories within this set are endless. A collector could choose to collect programmes for a specific team, country, competition, or any other weird and wonderful combination that can be imagined.

The most obvious type of Big Match is a cup final of a competition such as the FA Cup or League Cup. These collections can be limited to a certain date, depending on how ambitious you are with your collection. Another source of programmes are sponsored tournaments. Competitions such as the Autoglass Trophy, Watney Cup and Texaco Cup are a little harder to acquire and give us an interesting segment of the history of competitive football, especially when the cup is now defunct.

Programme collectors who are particularly enthusiastic about European based competitions will be interested in those printed for the European Cup, Cup Winners Cup, UEFA Cup, Intertoto Cup, European Super Cup. Those programme collectors who have a passion for non-league football would look for programmes relating to the FA Trophy, FA Vase Finals and the FA Amateur Cup Finals. In both of these categories, collectors would aim to go beyond the scope of finals, and may collected the varied styles of the semi-finals and quarter-finals programmes.

Also worth considering in this category are the programmes printed for international fixtures. British collectors will often collect the four home nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in friendlies, qualification and tournaments. Some may even decide to add a fifth nation to their collection and collect programmes for the Republic of Ireland. Of course, there are also several options within the context of international matches, when one considers Under 21, Youth and Schools level.

The proliferation of European soccer matches from the Champions League, UEFA Cup, Intertoto Cup and various others on television in recent years has increased the demand for programmes from this category of competition. There are many potential avenues to explore in this subset of programmes, such as home and away matches from a particular team's campaign, or the involvement of British clubs within any given competition. One of the advantages of exploring this subset is the fairly recent development of these types of matches, having occurred only in the last sixty years.

All of the different sets described would make for a very interesting collection to a programme enthusiast. Due to the difficulty in obtaining match programmes from often quite remote corners of the globe for international matches, perhaps your greatest tool in acquiring additions to your collection is through programme dealers and shops. The Big Match issues will be well stocked as these are in demand from clients due to their contextual value, and potential added value they may acquire in the future. These sorts of programmes will be resalable in the future as they make up part of football history.

Liverpool Football Club - It's Time to Relive the 80s!

The English Premier League has become somewhat of a spectacle in recent times. Thanks to intense media coverage and vast quantities of money paid to the league for broadcasting rights it has surpassed every other league in Europe. The biggest names in the world are lured over to the Premiership with the promise of money, glory and success. If you look at the Champions League competition over the last couple of seasons it has been dominated by the English teams. This shows the strength of the English sides and the power of the Premier League. As with all leagues the Premiership has a select group of teams that are a cut above the rest and one of the sides representing the cream of the Premier League is Liverpool FC.

Liverpool are one of the most decorated teams in England posing 18 league titles, 6 European titles and have many other trophies to their name. The 1980's were dominated by Liverpool. But unfortunately they have not won their domestic league title since. In 2005 Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League title coming back from a 3-0 deficit to win on penalties against AC Milan and since then have really made this competition their own. The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have outgrown Liverpool and it has been a while since they have gone anywhere near the Premier League trophy. In 2006 the current owner of Liverpool football club David Moores decided it was time to move on. He wanted to sell the club to someone that had capital to invest in the club on both players and a new stadium. After much thought and negotiation he agreed to sell to two American businessmen, Tom Hicks and George Gillette.

Hicks and Gillette promised to make the purchase of Liverpool FC with their own money and no debt would be involved. They were all for current manager Rafa Benitez and said that they would allow him to look after the team decisions. A new stadium was to be built directly after the takeover but this has been put on hold due to the current economic situation. Since the takeover the club has plundered further into debt and the relationship between Hicks and Gillette and manager Rafa Benitez has become somewhat strained. This became most apparent during the Gareth Barry saga that went on over the summer of 2008 where Benitez implied that he was allowed no control over his team. The fans as you would expect have taken sides with their manager. Hicks and Gillette have been falling out with each other of late which can only hinder the team's performance. The two have extra police protection on rare visits to the ground due to the fans discontent.

But things are looking up for Liverpool. Over the last few seasons they have brought in some top signings during the transfer windows. After a successful start could this be the season where Liverpool football club relive their glory years? Only time will tell.
